If you are purchasing a steel kit home you will have two options; you can purchase your new steel framed house in kit form and organise the construction yourself or you can ask your local Sheds n Homes store about their turnkey packages.
Our home kits come complete with steel components to lock up stage; we do not provide windows, doors, timber flooring, concrete slab or gyprock. We basically provide all the steel components, roof sheeting, external cladding, guttering, steel stud frame walls, joists and bearers.
If you choose to purchase one of our steel kit homes, then you will be responsible for sourcing the windows, doors, gyprock and concrete slab. This gives you an opportunity to shop around, plus you won’t have to pay a builder’s margin on any of these items.
So whilst we can definitely give you a quote for the cost of purchasing a steel kit home, you will have to do a little further research and compile a list of all the additional costs of your build.
You will also have to consider the acquisition costs of purchasing land and building a home, such as stamp duties, council rates, water, valuation costs, loan application fees and mortgage insurance. Plus, then you will need to look at other costs, such as moving and decorating your new home.
Sheds n Homes supply a range of steel framed homes that have been pre-engineered for the Australian market. Call us today on 1800 764 764 or find your nearest local store.
