The Studio Shed brings the same trusted engineering from our larger sheds into a compact, backyard-friendly design. It's manufactured using high-quality materials Australians have relied on for decades - made from premium BlueScope Steel and clad in Genuine COLORBOND® steel.

Sheds n Homes guarantees that your steel kit building will be manufactured in Australia, with all structural components made entirely from premium, high-tensile Australian BlueScope Steel rated at 450 MPa or greater. GALVASPAN® by BlueScope is used for the structural components of the Studio Shed—it’s strong, durable, and highly resistant to corrosion.

Sheds n Homes uses site-specific engineering processes and systems to ensure your buildings meet the exact demands of your site as well as Australian Building Codes and Standards. We're ShedSafe® accredited; offering you the ultimate peace-of-mind in a building that is strong, safe, and insurable.

Our raised flooring system is available as an optional upgrade. Instead of a traditional slab, the shed is elevated on steel bearers and joists (fixed to concrete piers) allowing the flooring system to sit 600mm above ground level. This enables you to install your flooring of choice. Please note: Concrete, floorboards, and associated fixings are not included.

The Studio Shed is ideal for those with experience in construction who are confident using tools. If that’s not you, we recommend hiring a qualified builder or handyman to take care of the assembly.

Taking on the shed build yourself? You’ll need to do a bit of cutting and drilling, so make sure you’ve got these tools on hand:
- Spirit level, measuring tape, clamps, metal snips
- Concrete hammer drill, impact driver, rivet gun
- Safety gear (gloves, glasses, etc.)

*The 9.8m ² Studio Shed may not require council approval if it is being built in QLD or NSW as the shed has been designed to meet the requirements of each state's self-assessable building guidelines. *The 20m ² Studio Shed has been designed to meet the requirements of NSW self-assessable building guidelines.
