Do-it-yourself steel carport kits are a great solution for those looking for comprehensive cover and protection for vehicles, boats, trailers and caravans. Steel is an ideal material for these covers as it is hard wearing and can stand up against the weather. These carports use our ShedSafe accredited pre-engineering and are designed site specific, to ensure a suitable design for your property.
Our carport designs are flexible with your choice of either gable or skillion roofing and the option to upgrade to a premium Terrain carport. These covers are supported by high tensile SHS (square hollow section) posts, the height of which is adjustable to suit your project. Bay widths and spans are flexible also; allowing Sheds n Homes to create a single carport or a triple bay design to also protect your boat and bikes.
BlueScope Steel have put years of research and development into ensuring the durability of the COLORBOND® steel, ZINCAUME® and GALVASPAN® used in our carports.
Gable or Skillion Roof
With a traditional gable roof the pitch can be set at 12, 15 or 22.5 degrees and you can have the gable end open or an infill added. The gable carport offers 3 metre or 3.5 metre bays and a maximum span of 9 metres (design criteria dependent).
Skillion roof carport kits offer a modern looking vehicle cover solution for Australian properties.
Perfect for the home and DIY handyman, these premium Terrain Carport kits come with powder coated beams and posts, and double sided colour roof sheeting. Available in high gloss Thredbo White® and Classic CreamTM in a choice of Trimclad or Corodeck Roof Sheeting.
