Our steel barn range is really popular as it provides maximum use of available headroom. The central bay and tower of the American barn allows for big machinery, boats or other equipment while the lean-tos can provide for workshop space, stables, or storage. Dimensions are flexible with varying heights, spans and lengths available.
Our barns are manufactured from BlueScope Steel, with a minimum of 450MPa GALVASPAN® framing and cladding in either ZINCALUME® or COLORBOND® steel. Pre-engineered and designed specific to your site, these barn sheds are also ShedSafe accredited.
An American or heritage barn is your traditional barn shed. The raised centre section allows the option to include mezzanine flooring and added storage space into the design.
If you opt for a gable roof on this centre bay, the standard pitch is 22.5 degrees. You can adjust this, as well as going for the modern skillion roof. The mirrored lean-tos of our American barn have a 12 degree pitch as standard, but again you can adjust the pitch and width as required. Internal walls can section of areas and you can nominate the number of roller doors, and on what sides of the buildings they feature.
If you want the space but a slightly different take on the traditional barn, we can reduce the lean-to drop so you have a unique Aussie Barn. With a more streamlined roof line you get an attractive building that your neighbours will be jealous of. The pitch of the central bay and lean-tos is adjustable once again.
Your local Sheds n Homes store will always design to suit your requirements and design criteria of your property, and only after you agree to the design is the shed put into manufacture.
